This course covers the introduction to operation, diagnosis, service, and repair of engine performance systems in late model gasoline vehicles. Areas of instruction include the combustion process and resulting emissions. Also described are the function and operation of the powertrain control system, fuel injection system, ignition system, emissions control devices, and force induction systems. Aligns with NATEF and ASE industrial standards.
