This co-requisite studio provides dedicated, hands on support for students developing their academic reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. While students learn to analyze rhetorical situations in terms of audience, purpose, and medium in Composition I, this studio offers a collaborative environment to actively practice those concepts. Students will receive individualized guidance and participate in workshops to strengthen their writing processes, from early planning and drafting to comprehensive revising and editing. The course also provides targeted exercises to help students confidently integrate college-level research, experiment with digital communication technologies, and refine their grammatical and mechanical accuracy.
